Day 144 - June 23, 2009
Tonight I had a very enjoyable evening by myself. I took care of some things on the computer and then I went shopping. I've been needing sandals and finally found some. I also found an inexpensive top and capri's. I went to Shoko and Burlington Coat Factory. Again, I forgot to take a pic.. ugh... I need to get back in the good ole habit - so I took an extra picture on Sat when I spend the day with mom. I took a pic of her hand. It's very unique because the veins spell TY for Tom Yates, my dad - her husband. It's always been there so she just knows it's meant to be with him :) Neato!
Day 143 - June 22, 2009
Today was a very somber day at work. Approx 10 people got laid off. It was quite the shocker and very unexpected. I came home after work and cleaned my entire apartment. It felt so good to have it clean. I realized I didn't get any pics to I took one of a sign in my bedroom that I just love that Mom and Dad bought for my last birthday. I wasn't able to hang it, since I was moving and was so excited when I finally got to hang it here at my new place. So this made the say somewhat brighter - that and a clean apartment :)

Today is Father's Day. I invited Doug and Sarah and Mike over for dinner. It was nice to have company :) I forgot to take a pic... UGH! So I am just posting a past picture of my daddy on behalf of Father's Day.

Day 141 - June 20, 2009
Today I spent entire day with Mom. We ran errands and went to lunch at Rumbi Island Grill. That evening, we went to Ralph Mattingly's 80th birthday. When I went to take Spencer a little, tiny Father's Day gift. It was a busy but very enjoyable day :) I ended the evening by watching Grumpier Old Men myself (which I really enjoyed) and then hit the sack.
Day 140 - June 19, 2009
Today is Sarah's 18th birthday. WOW! Can't believe my youngest is 18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH, I LOVE YOU! My work had a company party today at Boondocks. So we did that for Sarah's birthday and then have all the family over for dinner another day. Mike came in the beginning which was fun, but left early to go to Mani Pageant. FUN! David came to be with Sarah and Spence, Steph and Garret came for a while. It was fun tending Garret while they were off having some fun.

Went to a movie tonight with Scott. He invited me. We went to the dollar theater which I'm not so much a fan of, but the popcorn was fantastic, better than other places. And the movie was GREAT. 17 Again.

I ran some errands after work. When I came home there were baby ducks right by my apartment. They were so cute. Then later I went for a walk and found some more. Cuteness!! :)

Day 135 - June 14, 2009
Today after church I organized all my baby books and toys for Garret. I can't wait until he can play with them and read them. But I can at least show them to him when he is here next. Another huge accomplishment for today, since my move I have been behind with this project for three weeks, I have just completed the last three weeks on here. Wow, it feels so good to finally be caught up again. Now that I'm all settled I can keep up like I did before. YAY!!
Day 134 - June 13, 2009
Scott took me to Panda Express and then we went to Spencer and Steph's to take Spencer his birthday present. He is feeling better, but still very tired. It's been a long haul for him. It was nice to see them again and especially to see Garret. He is such a sweetheart. I read him a book and he just looked at the pages in awe. It was neat :) He is four months old now - WOW!!!
Day 133 - June 12, 2009
Today is Charlie's birthday. Barb, Mom and Mike went to his graveside and released 31 balloons for his birthday. He would have been 31 today. I was sorely sad to have missed it, but I had to work and Barb didn't want to do it after, she wanted it to be a day thing. They also had cheesecake which is his fave. That night Scott and I went over and spent the evening at her place. Sarah and her boyfriend David came over after a while. We played games and had pizza. The neat thing is Mike delivered the pizza to us :) Barb is going to give me some pics, but for now here is the one I got at her place.

I don't have a pic for today as well. With moving and having the internet down and no computer for a couple weeks, I tried to get my one photo a day, but didn't get one for today. I'm amazed at all I have though, I haven't done too bad :) I think this is only the second one missed.

Today we had another brilliant storm. These photo's are from my balcony. You can barely see the mountain top for the clouds are down in them. We have had an abundance of rain lately and thunder storms. It has been soooooooo extra neat :)

Today is Spencer's birthday. He is very ill. We were going to go to his place for a BBQ but he went to Dr today and found out he has Mono. Poor guy is just so sick. So it got canceled. I don't have a pic since we didn't go so I'm going to put one of their latest that they took as a family. It is sooo darling. It's my fave :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPENCER, I LOVE YOU!!

Wow, what a neat and gorgeous thunder storm. The pics don't do it justice, but it was a flood outside. The light show and thunder were amazing.
Day 120 - May 30, 2009
Tonight was the Styx Concert. Scott took me and we had a blast. We took Trax and went to Jordan Commons and had dinner then went to the concert. It was 38 Special, REO Speedwagon and STYX - WA HOOOO! It was a blast but my voice hurt after, hee! I found out a ton of people that went that night that I know. It was neat. It rained walking to there and back to Trax. Craziness.
Day 119 - May 29, 2009
Tonight we went to get Sushi with my co-workers. Of course I can't STAND sushi... ICK!!! But I got chicken terriaki :) YUM! Scott came as well. After we went to Best Buy and I purchased a new computer. I toyed back and forth with the idea, but I knew I woudn't be able to handle no computer. I'm excited to get it set up.

Tonight I went to a high school program. It was a dance program. It was Sarah Wensel's. She invited me. It was really neat. Scott came with me and we left a tiny bit early and met Barb and Colette at a place called "McCool's" out by them. We got some sweet potato fries. YUM!!

Today is Memorial Day and I have the day off. WOO HOO!! I am amazed at how much I got done with unpacking. It felt great.

Got lots done today with trying to get settled. Barb came over and we went to the cemetery as tomorrow is Memorial Day. It was neat to see Char's headstone. Still seems strange saying that though, doesn't seem real even after all this time. Spencer and Stephanie came over just as we were going to leave so it was neat as they were able to come with us. Barb made us a pizza after.

Today was the big move. I was SOOOglad to have today overwith. I did have lots of helpers though, so that felt grand. I was truly grateful. Make was out of town and made it back which was an extra added bonus :)
