Day 53 - March 27, 2009

Scott sent Devin flowers today. Devin and I work together and although Scott has met Devin before, something clicked this time when he saw and spoke to her at the Twilight Party. Everyone adored the flowers at work. They were beautiful.

Day 52 - March 26, 2009

Barb gave me my gift today. She gave me Lavender Tea with a strainer from the Tea Grotto which is my favorite place to go have tea :) What a neat gift!!

Day 51 - March 25, 2009

I babysat Garret tonight. This will be on-going every Wed for the next 8 weeks :) yippee!! Spencer and Stephanie have started swing dance lessons. I didn't take a photo of Garret tonight, however, I did last time I was there visiting and it's so precious I just need to add it here. He is a delight. What a blessing to our family.

Day 50 - March 24, 2009

I took dinner to Steph and Spencer tonight and stayed and helped with Garret while Steph ran some errands and took care of some things. Garret cooed and smiled. I can't believe he is doing this so much at six weeks. He is as precious as it gets. :)

Nothing too eventful today so I experienced a look with no glasses.

Day 48 - March 22, 2009

I got new glasses on Friday. Bi-focals for my first time. Today I took a pic of my new glasses with me wearing them. I did this with my mobile phone.

Day 47 - March 21, 2009

I went to dinner tonight with my friends for my birthday. We went to Bohemian Brewery. Jamey and her two kids and Doug, his wife and three of his daughters. We had a very nice time.

Day 46 - March 20, 2009

Today I have many pics instead of just one (oops). Sarah and I went to a Twilight Party at Macey's Grocery store. We had a great time, although I was totally exhausted by end of day. We saw Gae and her two daughters, Devin and her son and Apryl and couple of her daughter's from work. We also saw Barb since she works there. Barb loved the band :) So I took a pic of them. Sarah's cousin, Lindsay came for a bit. Also Scott showed up towards the end. Also, Sarah donated blood to the red cross and got a badge that says "I gave blood for Edward". It is cute. Sarah and I got an updo. We waited until midnight to buy the movie. I bought one for Sarah, Steph and myself. They had a balloon drop at midnight and Sarah won a water bottle, Linday won a gift basket set with all kinds of goodies in it. Scott won a lip balm and gave it to Sarah, a water bottle that he gave to me and a $25 gift card to Chili's.

Day 45 - March 19, 2009

Today is my birthday :) I've had celebrations going on for a few days and have a few more days of it. Never had so much going on for my birthday. It's been so much fun!! My work decorated my cubicle and after work Scott took me to dinner and a movie. It was a nice day. I recieved many messages from my friends on facebook and it made me feel so good.

Day 44 - March 18, 2009

Tonight I had dinner with a friend at Red Robin. We went for our birthday's. After we went to Murray Park and walked around for awhile until dusk. It was a bit chilly, but nice. It was fun to see the geese and ducks.

Day 43 - March 17, 2009

Tonight I went to Stephanie and Spencer's for dinner. They had me over for my birthday for dinner. It was a yummy dinner of spagetti and meatballs, salad and garlic bread. And better than sex cake, and another chocolate kind. We had a nice time. Mike and Sarah and Doug were also there. The best part of the night was Garret. He was so sweet. He was wide eyed, alert and for the most part - happy. I enjoyed my time with him so much.

Sarah and Mike gave me the Mario Bear "Racoon" brown sweatshirt that I've been wanting for ages from Hot Topic. Spencer and Stephanie are giving me a blown up picture of Garret - my choice :) and Doug said he would give me the gift of coming over to help with my problem computer, yipeee :) All and all it was a special day with my family!! Oh, and it was St Patrick's Day and I was dressed in my camo pants, as was Garret, we were twins :) hehe!

Day 42 - March 16, 2009

Today at work Jaime lost a bet to Melissa. It was to eat no sugar. She had to eat a can of olives and sushi. YUCK to the sushi. Claims (Sylvia) Dept invited me to watch :) Jaime is such a riot.

Day 41 - March 15, 2009

Today we went to church and then came home and Mom made "something" Tascana soup. A replica of Olive Garden sausage, potato, kale soup. It was yummy. Barb and I let to go back home today. Bye bye Mom and Dad... until next time...

Day 40 - March 14, 2009

Barb is getting her bedding put away because then Mom took Barb and I out to breakfast at Golden Corral. We had a nice time. Then we went to DI and shoe stores etc. We tried to find me some shoes. We went to Six Star where Barb and I found some neat things. A frame for Barb and two plaques for me. Both of us used our birthday money.

Day 39 - March 13, 2009

Today Barb and I drove to Logan for the weekend, to visit Mom and Dad. A few days ago, we had a huge snowstorm. Mom and Dad still had so much snow. It was neat :)

Day 38 - March 10, 2009

When I came home from work today, there was a package in the mail. It was a homemade baby quilt for Garret from Sarah Waldes. I was extremely touched. It is so adorable. That was so sweet of her and literally made my day. I was so excited to take it to Stephanie and Spencer. When I did, they really liked it. What a sweet thing for Sarah to do. She is a dear friend.

Day 37 - March 7, 2009

Today I babysat Garret for the first time. I was in heaven. He was so sweet and it was neat. He mostly slept, but I also got to feed him a bottle. Spencer and Stephanie went to Sat evening of Stake Conf. It was a fun night :)

Day 36 - March 6, 2009

I went bowling today. I haven't been in like two decades... yikes! It was a blast, but boy I paid for it after. I was exhausted. I went with Sarah, Mike and Scott. I won't put our scores here, but I will say I came in last. Mike won, then Scott, then Sarah and then me. After we played some video games. Scott and I played Air Hockey, which I can say on that - I won. Then we played DDR (Dance, Dance Revolution) that is where I became exhausted. It was a fun evening. Sarah and I freaked over the shoes and wanted to slip them out and keep them :) Of course we didn't. We offered to pay, but they wouldn't sell them. Sarah just loved them and for me they were comfortable which I have problems with shoes with my cyst, so I desperately wanted them.

Day 35 - March 5th

Today is Barb's birthday but I don't have a picture. I gave her a gift and saw her for a bit. Over the next few days I only have pictures here and there. With having my computer problems, I didn't get all my pictures. Some didn't turn out or got lost as my computer kept having critical errors. So I will post the ones I have and then hopefully be able to resume from here on out. It's been kind of a stressful couple weeks and trying to catch up has been crazy.

Day 34 - March 4, 2009

YAY my computer finally works. Yesterday after installing the video card it still didn't work. I started to get in a depression. Tonight my friend from Canada called to help me walk through some things. He was determined it was the power supply as it didn't make a beep when turning the system on. So he walked me through several things and still didn't work. In the end, I fittled with the power supple some more and it finally came on. Wow, what a long week.

Still having computer problems. Went out and purchased a new video card as that is what most people thought the problem may be.

Today was a very special day. Garret was blessed. It was a beautiful blessing and Garret slept through it. He looked so precious in his baby blessing outfit. It was a beautiful day.

Day 30 - February 28, 2009

I was so excited for today because my computer was supposed to be fixed. It only cost $40 and he got viruses and spamware off. He said it was in good condition and tested well. I met Jamey in Tooele and picked it up. When I got home and hooked it all up, it wouldn't communicate with the monitor. I was devastated. Everyone thought it might be the video card. I took it out and the ram out and back in to make sure they were secure and tight. It still didn't work. I was extremely down. I didn't know what to do. I tried many things and talked to a few people. UGH!! :(

Day 29 - February 27

Today was very special. Garret came to Grandma's for the first time for a visit. It was neat to see him and change his diaper. Spud and Steph looked like two cute and fun parents. They didn't stay long so I didn't end up getting a picture but they had text me this pic from earlier and I think it's so cute and thought I would post it here since I didn't get one with his first visit to my home. He is such a precious cutie :)

Day 28 - February 26, 2009

I am having computer withdrawals and going crazy. Scott offered me to come to his place and use his computer, so I spent the evening there. He made dinner. I went to Marie Calendars and got a pie since it's pie month and we had that for dessert. YUM, it was Double Cream, Custard Blueberry. Very tasty.

Day 27 - February 25

Today was a neat day. I have reconnected with Jamey (Brunner) on facebook. We went to high school together. She comes in once a month for ortho for her kids and we decided to have dinner together. We went to Olive Garden. It was so neat seeing her. Her kids, Caitlin and Mackey were also there. They are adorable and fun kids. It was neat seeing Jamey again and it was also her birthday which made it extra neat. Then Doug Lund showed up and it was way cool to see him as well. We also went to high school together. I went to Homecoming Dance with Doug. It was just a fun evening. Then Jamey offered to come get my computer and take it to her friend who is good with computers, to see what might be the problem. I thought that was so sweet of her. It's so neat to reunite with friends. I came home on a high.

Day 26 - February 24, 2009

Today I was major depressed. I discovered that my computer wasn't working yesterday. I tired all kinds of things and talked to people, but couldn't get it to work. I went shopping and picked up some things I needed and picked up chocolate. I then came home and watched movies and ate chocolate. I had borrowed movies from Doug. For some reason my pics aren't turning out well lately, I've got to adjust my camera and see what the issue is, but at least I have this for a journal moment.

Day 24 - February 22, 2009

Mom came to stay with me as she has some things to take care of with Cathi pertaining to Grandma Lund. I had gone through a box looking for something a previous day and saw these paper doll items. I saved them out to show mom so it could be a nostalgic moment for her. She is the one who made them. She was thrilled to see them. I played with them as a little girl, and I saved them and gave them to Sarah to play with as a little girl.
