Day 81 - April 24, 2009

Scott and I went for a midnight snack at iHop. Technically it's today since it was just past midnight.

Day 80 - April 23, 2009

After work I had a dental Appt for a check-up. Then Mike came and spent the evening. We went to Noodle and Company for dinner and then chatted and played a game.

Day 79- April 22, 2009

I bleached Sarah's hair today.

Day 78 - April 21, 2009

I don't want to talk about today. It was one of the most difficult days I've had in a very long time. I shed more tears today than I have in a very long time. I think I will just say it ended with these flowers. The End!

Day 77 - April 20, 2009

A funny thing happened at work today. Christine came to work with two different shoes, a black and a brown. She didn't even realize for a while. We all laughed so hard. I asked her if I could take a picture. It was a funny moment and one we needed for a Monday.

Day 76 - April 19, 2009

We spent the entire day at the hospital again, today. It is Sunday. Scott's mom passed away in the night (Monday morning around 5 am). All her children were there and two grand-children. I'm grateful I could be there today and all this weekend to support Scott. The sun was bright from the window, so not the best shot.

Day 75 - April 18, 2009

I went with Scott today to the hosptial to be with him while he is with his mother and family. In the photo is Randy, Scott and their mom.

Day 74 - April 17, 2009

Today is Scott's birthday. I was going to take him out, however, his mom is in the hospital on her death bed. Thankfully she didn't pass away on Scott's birthday. He has been going through a lot. I made him a cake not thinking we wouldn't be able to go out but then his mom took a turn for the worst. This is her third day in the hospital. A few days ago she was diagnosed with cancer in her lungs, liver and bones. I feel so bad for her and all the family. I went up to the hospital to be with Scott and I took his cake. We all enjoyed it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTTIE!!!

Day 73 - April 16, 2009

Work has been extremely stressful lately with all kinds of changes. Apparently they are only to our dept. Here is a discussion between us gals when not too many people were around. Hey, we needed to vent. This has been a horrible week!!!!!!!!

Day 71 - April 14, 2009

Struggling going to sleep tonight, but oooooooh so tired. You can see in the photo by the clock that it's late. Of course sometimes I don't even get to bed until this time, but tonight I got to bed extra early. Nothing eventful happened today so I took this pic and text it to Scott to say gnight! He text back and said "like I said, you are soooo beautiful"> I laughed at that. Uneventful days call for weird pics :)

Day 70 - April 13, 2009

Tonight I just mostly packed boxes for moving. Scott E called and said he wanted to come by as he had something for me. On Easter he had me a little basket with some chocolate. The chocolate melted in his car while he visited a friend and he didn't think it was hot enough outside to melt, but it did so he felt bad. He wasn't going to give it to me because of this but decided to anyway. So he stopped by. I took the grass out so I could see the melted bunny in the basket easier for the pic :) I thought it was sweet of him to think of me. I guess I should mention that a few months ago he was the one I was referring to with the brownies, etc. I didn't talk to him for several months and then out of the blue he called one day. He has been sweet ever since, but taking things really slow in the friendship dept, which I'm glad for.

Day 69 - April 12, 2009

Today I had a "me" day. I have been burned out somewhat and have been busy. So since I celebrated Easter with my family last night, I turned down the invites I had for today and just had a "me" day. I stayed in my jammies all day.

Day 68 - April 11, 2009

Tomorrow is Easter. I had my entire family over tonight to celebrate. We had a really nice time. After dinner we colored eggs and then had dessert. Kia came too and Spencer gave her a bath :) Garret was a total sweetheart, as usual. Sarah printed some fun Easter activities and we enjoyed doing them together.

Day 67 - April 10, 2009

I forgot to take a pic today, darn. Scott and I did some major shopping after work, for Easter and then went to a movie - "Knowing". Last week we went to a movie and I played around with his new phone and actually took this pic, so I will post it for that memory mixed with today :)

Day 66 - April 9, 2009

I was able to babysit Garret again tonight :) Steph had enrichment and was going to take him but he had been fussy. I enjoyed him a lot. He cooed and smiled and was a good boy. I got some pics of the two of us :)

Day 65 - April 8, 2009

Wed is the day I get to babysit Garret while Spencer and Stephanie go to Swing Dance Lessons. He is such a sweetie. Sarah and Ben came over for a bit.

Day 64 - April 7, 2009

An old friend that I used to date - Dave Handley - saw me on the news when Charlie died. I hadn't seen him in a few years. I called me and we reconnected. He has been wanting to take me out to catch up. We finally made it today and met for an early dinner. Dang, I forgot to take a pic. I'm getting frustrated with forgetting, I used to be better. I need to refocus daily. Anyway, so I'm posting an old photo of us for memories sake. This was from 2004. He was such a good friend and the guy that helped get me back into dating again.

Day 63 - April 6, 2009

Today was were able to dress casual for work if we wore our new T-shirt. We are doing a Sealant's for Smiles / United Way Campaign and were given new t-shirts.

Day 62 - April 5, 2009

Today is general conference again and I love being able to watch it in my jammies. Mike came over in-between and we went through his entire closet so I can get things packed, etc. He through out a lot!

Day 61 - April 4

Today I packed all day, literally. I listened to conference as I packed. Spencer sent me this cute photo of Garret saying it is the first time he has ever tucked his hands beneath the covers :) He is so sweet!!

Day 60 - April 3, 2009

Today Scott took Devin out on a date for lunch. He totally enjoyed being with her :) Tonight Scott and I went to a late movie as he had to work. I forgot to take a picture today... yikes! Thankfully Spencer sent a picture of Garret today, which is far better anyway :) It is so precious. He is smiling. I love that little guy!! :)

Day 59 - April 2, 2009

Today Scott, Doug Lund and I met for lunch at The Noodle Company. It was way cool to have lunch with them. I felt bad as I forgot to take a picture. Scott and Doug met for the first time. That night I did lots of packing for my upcoming move.

Day 58 - April 1, 2009

April Fool's Day. Today was so funny at work. Sylvia played an April fool's prank on Gae. Gae is very touchy about her age and brings all this on herself. Her last name is McDonald. Silvia took her name plate and changed the "Gae" to "Old" which was perfect because of the number of digits in the name. She would walk past and "moo" or "oink", etc. Once she found out, it was hilarious. I don't recall laughing this hard in a long time.

Day 57 - March 31, 2009

Yet again, it was someone else birthday at work today. That same adorable person - Sylvia - made a cake for the occasion as it was someone in her dept. It turned out to be every bit as fantastic looking as the others.

Day 56 - March 30, 2009

Today I had a really bad day. Nothing bad happened, I was just very tired and moody and didn't feel the best. That time of the month was coming and proved to be one of the worst. I was just in a horrid mood. I wasn't going to see anyone that night, but Scott wanted to take me out to an early dinner since he had a gift card. So we went to Chili's. We talked about Devin most the time. She agreed to go on a date with him and he can hardly wait :) It snowed a lot today, so that should have lifted my mood. Perhaps it would have been worse had it not :)

Day 55 - March 29, 2009

Tonight all my family came for a visit for games, etc. Barb also came. Scott came after work. We played games and I made lasagna for a snack instead of snacks. Everyone laughed at that. Garret was a sweetheart, as usual. He had a tiny tummy ache, though.

Day 54 - March 28, 2009

Tonight very late at the spur of the moment (very spontaneous) Scott and I decided to meet at Red Robin for a late night snack. We were going to get fries with their yummy BBQ dipping sauce. Instead, Scott ordered the chicken and fry basked. It was a tasty late night treat, even though it was fattening.
